Orang-Utan

My Orang-utan is amost finished!!  I am so excited about how s/he is turning out… don’t know yet if this is a boy or girl Orangutan….  what do you think?  There are more pictures on the “wip” page but here is just the face for now.  I plan to do a bit more embellishment with thread and I need to add a swarovsky crystal in each eye for a sparkle.  I so want this to be a girl… but when my family and friends look at the piece, they say “him”…  maybe I need to glue some false eyelashes to her? 

Now… I am already thinking of the elephant portrait that will be next.. then a giraffe….  then…  I’ll have a jungle before long!
